About Iverson

Iverson Rupido is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor (born August 14, 2005). He spent part of his childhood in Manila, Philippines and Singapore before eventually settling in Vancouver, British Columbia. Growing up across a variety of different cultures helped shape his creativity and curiosity, both of which would later influence his passion for performing.

Iverson first discovered his love for theatre in Grade 10 at Earl Marriott Secondary School. What began as a school activity quickly turned into a genuine passion for the stage. During his time there, he performed memorable roles such as Donkey in "Shrek The Musical" (2023) and Miles in "She Kills Monsters" (2022), experiences that allowed him to develop his confidence, comedic timing, and stage presence. During his senior year of high school, he would also go on to release his debut single "Only Try" (2023).

After graduating high school, Iverson briefly stepped away from theatre to focus on his studies at Simon Fraser University, where he pursued his university education. However, the pull of the stage never faded. In November 2025, his passion for performing reignited when he returned to theatre and landed a role in "High School Musical: On Stage!" with Align Entertainment, marking an exciting return to live performance. That same month, he also released a Christmas single titled "Christmas Feeling". Beyond writing the song, he also took creative leadership behind the scenes by producing and directing the official music video.

Iverson continues to pursue creative opportunities while balancing his academic journey. As a performer, he remains committed to telling stories, connecting with audiences, and exploring many exciting projects to come!
